About the Event
OVERVIEW
This is an opportunity to visit the Everest region, by travelling to and basing at Namche Bazaar, the Capital of the Sherpa people and then selecting from a number of extension options. These options include the classic Everest Base Camp trek, but also other options, such as Island Peak, Gokyo Lakes and over Cho La Pass, or shorter visits to Tengboche, or Ningboche to see Ama Dablam and Lhotse South Face. We also have the Yeti Mountain Home trek via Thame and Kongde, which offers a very different route with premium lodge accommodation.
This will allow you to tailor-make your visit and fully experience this incredible region and the wonderful people at your own pace. You will have a guide and porters as usual, which contributes to their living, but allows you to meet these modest and fascinating people who are highly spiritual and live in respect of their mountains.
