Fujairah Sulphur Pools Hike

The hiking trail of this Wadi is located just off the highway – so it’s easy to reach – but feels world’s away from the usual mountain climbs. Thanks to the volume of water in this area, this hiking trail takes you along a course of turquoise blue sulphur pools, with plenty of wildlife to nosey at on the way.

Couple that with verdant farms, lush palms and banana trees, and you’ve got yourself one of the prettiest hikes in the UAE. The Hike got its name due to the flora and geology of the area. Crystal clear and milky blue pools and salt clusters are the highlights of the trail.

Learn to navigate and scramble your way through a wadi. Trek involves scrambling short distances, walking on possible wet ground, no deep or dangerous cliffs. At the end of hike, we will have our toes nibbled by the fish for fun natural pedicure :)

WHAT TO BRING

Any car can reach the entrance of Wadi, then you need a 4x4 to the start point of the hike

Carpool sheet will be discussed for confirmed participants

1. Backpack
2. 3 liters of water, minimum
3. Snacks (oranges, apple, dates, protein bar), electrolytes, sandwiches, nuts
4. Hiking boots or trainer with good grip sole
5. Hiking pants, tights, dry fit t-shirt
6. Sunscreen lotion
7. Hat and sunglass
