Ice climbing, in Georgia!

OVERVIEW

Ever wanted to climb a frozen waterfall in the spectacular landscape of a high mountain glacier? 

With the backdrop of some of the most imposing mountains in the region? Join our trip to Georgia and learn how to climb the ice, in the Gereti Glacier, in the Kazbegi region, north of Tblisi!

FOR WHO IS THIS

This trip is for everyone, beginner or intermediate. Led by a certified ice climbing instructor which will bring you to the climbing sites, equip you with gear, teach and assist you for your ice climbing experience! 

If you are an experienced ice climber, still this trip is for you and you can enjoy leading your routes!

The places we will visit are frozen waterfalls climbing sites.

The trip starts from the magical Tblisi, which is it's the perfect starting location, very well connected to Dubai and offers a range of possibilities (archelogical & historical sites, thermal baths, museums) if you want to extend your stay in Georgia!

PROGRAM

Day 1 - Pick up from your hotel and first day of climbing  

The guide will pick you up from your hotel in Tblisi and drive you to the hotel place in Gergeti (3 hours drive). 

You will have a quick rest and lunch at the hotel and right away heading out for a first afternoon of ice climbing!

Return back to the hotel for dinner and proper night sleep

Day 2 - Another Ice climbing day and return to Tblisi

We will start with a proper breakfast and heading straight to the frozen water falls again for another day of climbing. end of the day, we will drive you back to Tblisi, reaching evening time

LOGISTICS

Accomodation - Hotel in Gergeti

Your basecamp for the trip will be the Hotel Gergeti, a small family hotel in the middle of the Gergeti Glacier mountains. The hotel has all the basic modern facilities, including hot showers, breakfast, dinner.

The accomodation is in private room shared by two people, with twin beds.

Flights

Flight booking and price is not included in the event and needs to be arranged by the participants.

You can choose what flights you want but be ready to leave Tblisi Saturday morning 6am and you will return Sunday evening 9pm.
