Rabi Tower Families Hike

Al Rabi Trail in Khor Fakkan, hikes above the exclave city of Khor Fakkan on one side and the Gulf of Oman on the other, offers exceptional panoramic views, with an easy soft uphill climb, perfect for various age groups and fitness levels.

ROUTE

We will start the hike at the parkig place of Khor Fakkan and start with a bit of road to then pass onto a well paved trail towards a shaded shelter at the top of the hill, to enjoy the views of the beaches underneath.

Total Ascent 350 m Distance 5 Km Time: 2-3 hours if you reach the very top Level: Easy

WHAT TO BRING

Any car can reach the entrance of Wadi, then you need a 4x4 to the start point of the hike

Carpool sheet will be discussed for confirmed participants

1. Backpack
2. 3 liters of water, minimum
3. Snacks (oranges, apple, dates, protein bar), electrolytes, sandwiches, nuts
4. Hiking boots or trainer with good grip sole
5. Hiking pants, tights, dry fit t-shirt
6. Sunscreen lotion
7. Hat and sunglass
8. Headlight
9. Food for the whole trip

Nice to have

1. Personal basic Aid kit
2. Hiking poles

There is no toilette at the site, therefore make sure you make a stop before arriving to the event.
