United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals
We proudly align ourselves with the following UN SDGs and incorporate these values into our work ethic, activities and processes.
The United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice.
Goal 1: No Poverty
Economic growth must be inclusive to provide sustainable jobs and promote equality. We believe in strengthening communities and contributing to socio-economic development by utilising local companies and products.
Goal 3: Good Health & Wellbeing
Ensuring healthy lives and promoting the wellbeing for all at all ages is essential to sustainable development. We believe in the power of nature and the great outdoors as key to health.
Goal 4: Quality Education
Obtaining a quality education is the foundation to improving people’s lives and sustainable development. Outdoor education is at the heart of what we do and we incorporate learning outcomes in our activities.
Goal 5: Gender Equality
Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world. We are surrounded by strong, independent women and actively promote outdoor activities for all, breaking norms in the Middle East.
Goal 14: Keep Oceans Clean
Careful management of this essential global resource is a key feature of a sustainable future. We live by the ‘Leave No Trace’ principles and encourage litter clean ups and recycling during our activities.
