OVERVIEW

Escape the heat with a trip to Georgia. 3 days of climbing on limestone and granit with an certified alpine guide at the foothils of the Kazbeg montain (5,000m). Fly into Tbilisi, then drive 3 hours to Gergeti hotel. From there, all climbing locations are 10-15 mins drive distance!

FOR WHO IS THIS?

This is a trip for everyone, from absolute beginners to advanced climbers! The goal is to have fun and improve your climbing techniques and safety on rocks. You will spend 3 full days at 3 totally different crags with all level grades. It's an amazing opportunity to learn climbing or improve your skill and to practice various techniques.

KAZBEGI, GEORGIA

Kazbegi is known for its scenic location in the Greater Caucasus mountains, and it is a center for trekkers and mountain climbing. Local attractions include the the Gergeti Trinity Church outside of town, as well as Mount Kazbegi itself and the alpine meadows and forests of the surrounding Kazbegi Nature Reserve, Juta mountain, Gveleti Waterfall, Truso valley and Abudelauri blue lakes.

Before or after this rock climbing trip, you can indulge into visiting the region, or Tbilisi vibrand and cultutally rich city, relaxing in one of the many hotels with thermal spas and explore the cultural side of Georgia.

PROGRAM

Day 00 (27 June): Fly from Dubai to Tblisi airport and night in Tbilisi city  

Self arranged travel to Tbilisi (suggested Fly Dubai DXB 19:00 TBS 22:25).

Hotel in Tbilisi needs to be arranged by the participant

Day 01 (28 June): Transfer to Gergeti and climbing

You will be met by our guide in Tblisi and transfer you to the hotel in Gergeti, which is three hours drive from Tblisi.

The first day of climbing begins in one of the spectacular crags around Gergeti and Arsha. Around 17/18 back to the accommodation for dinner and night rest.

Day 02: Rock Climbing!

We start the day with breakfast at 8:30 and the second day of climbing begins. Around 17/18 we go back to the accommodation for another nice dinner and night sleep.

Day 03: Climbing and back to Tbilisi

We start the day again with breakfast and then the third and final day of climbing begins. Around 15/16 we go back to the hotel and then transfer to Tbilisi city.

Day 04: 1 July Fly back to Dubai

Some freetime in the town to explore it before the flight leaves direction home!
