The diverse topography of Wadi Kub, which is a branch of Wadi Naqab, is a pristine beauty of nature, with large Sidr trees, that are more than one hundred years old, and mountains of different colors swirled together will truly reward visitors with mesmerizing views.
The entire area near the Wadi Naqab, including its tributaries and sub-tributaries, although initially populated by the Khathami Naqbiyin tribe (in Arabic: النقبي), also called Naqabi or Al-Naqabi (from which the name of the wadi comes), was occupied by from approximately 1800, by the Habus tribe, which extended, among other territories, through the tribal area of Ahl Ghayl, in which the current villages of Shari, Samarat, Buaiba and others were located, and through the tribal area of Bani Hasan, in which the current villages of Baqal and Tala were located.
